Cupcakes for FUN

After a stressful event that had totally drained my energy, I somehow really want to try those cupcakes from the famous CUPCAKEN. Even if I had no idea where it is located, I still took the challenge to search for it. All I know is that it is located in Banawa, Cebu City. It’s located at R. Duterte Street, Banawa, Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines, 6000. It is near Paseo de Arcenas. It’s usually open from 2pm – 12mn, Monday to Saturday. You can probably ride 12L/07B to get to the place. The ambiance is cool and sweet. It’s white and pink theme really made me comfortable with all their pictures of the cupcakes hanged all over the place.

Without any second thoughts, I thought I’d try two cupcakes so I tried the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the Chocolate Hazelnut.  At first, I thought that two cupcakes wouldn’t be enough. But I was terribly wrong, one cupcake will suffice. I almost had a hard time finishing the other cupcake. (>.<)

My friend, on the other hand, ordered some Chocolate Overload and Chocolate Ganache. Aren’t these cupcakes really that insanely attractive?

So if you get depress or sad just visit Cupcaken! It will get a 9 out of 10 rating from me. Just don’t be deceive by its scrumptiousness or else you won’t be able to finish them all alone.

Home of Real Food and Sweet Baking

I first heard of this restaurant from a friend of mine. They said that the price of the food is affordable which is  parallel to the kind of satisfaction that their food give. With that it mind, I tried to go there with my friends and it was totally true. 

Since I was more to chocolates, the first cake ate there was Chocolate Extreme (see picture at right). Yes! It was big and really really sweet! It did satisfy my cravings for sweets. But aside from this cake. They also have a lot of cakes displayed not to mention they also have ice cream cakes, though they are not as big as their regular cakes but they are really really tasty. They also have Steamboat, it's somewhat filled with 3 big scoops of ice cream, with some stick-O's in it and a lot more, and I believe people's all time favorite- Banana Split.

If you can't tell which cake is good or yummy from their menu, you could actually look at their display. The way their cakes are presented makes your mouth water. So yeah! From the several cakes they have, I think I only tasted three kinds since I am that biased to my favorites especially Chocolate Extreme.

Oh! Before I forget this. You could actually have your meeting at Dessert Factory Ayala Center Cebu, specifically outside but you have to order. Don't worry they have french fries which is affordable and could be shared by three persons. So why not order fries while you have your meeting. If I am to rate this restaurant, it would have to be an eight out of ten. Their ambiance really suites the different celebrations we celebrate every month even the uniforms of their staff will be fancied by accessories related to the season. Good Food, Good Service, Good Place - Dessert Factory!

BIG BIG BIG TASTY CHOCOLATES

Just a week ago, I noticed this very big big chocolate. It was at facebook that I first noticed it. My mouth became watery and I wanted to taste one. Here's an image of the size of the chocolate.

It's almost the size of a keyboard. It's 1 kg and you can even use it as one of your dangerous weapons to hit your enemy. After, you can now eat it because it's already crushed into big chunks which you can't enough. You can actually choose from Dark Chocolate (my favorite), White Chocolate and Milk Chocolate.

Look at his face as he chews the chunk of chocolate. It's actually scripted somehow but people are wanting and are craving for this kind of chocolate like this guy.

In a personal note, I kind of like the Dark Chocolate. It's because of its bitter sweet taste and you can't stop eating it until you get tired of course. Others say it sometimes make you drunk but it didn't made me drunk. It's somewhat a psychological factor perhaps. Compared to Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate is somewhat sweet but sometimes too sweet if you eat a lot so you might consider that you will get sore throat when you eat much. I think it's sweetness is a factor that helps make your chocolate vanish slower compared to the dark chocolate which in my case did vanish in just a matter of five days with the help of my friends of course. In regards to the White Chocolate, I haven't tried any but will buy one probably next month.
